Retail has been a fundamental part of JM Partnership's Approved Inspector Services since the company was granted its original licence back in 1997 with Dixons Stores Group International being our first and longest standing client. At this time the company also developed a close working relationship with the rpa:group, one of the top 20 designers in the United Kingdom, who specialise in delivering retail design for a significant number of leading brands.
Due to the knowledge and understanding for the attention to detail that was gained in this sector, JM Partnership soon became employed by other clients and designers to become the leading provider of Building Control Services to the retail sector. During 2008 the company dealt with in excess of 30 units within Westfield's White City development in London. These included one-off stores by retailers from Europe moving into the UK market for the first time including Tous, Camper, Blanco and Morellato, to larger, international retailers such as Monsoon, Louis Vuitton, Tommy Hilfiger, Superdrug, 3G and The White Company.
